  If you’ve ever had to deal with a government office in most African countries, you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say the experience is exhausting, frustrating, and painfully slow. Something as simple as verifying a document, getting a license, or submitting a form can turn into a week-long process — not because it’s complex, but because of how ineffective and poorly managed these offices are. Let me tell you what I’ve seen and experienced myself. You show up early, hoping to beat the queue. The sign on the door says they open at 8:00 AM. It’s 9:30, and the door is still closed. When someone finally shows up, they stroll in like it’s mid-morning tea time. No apology. No explanation. They might open the window or desk briefly, attend to one or two people, then disappear again — for hours.
